Their contract runs out this season. They have seven episodes left.

They could renew the contract, but I highly doubt Matt and Trey will. They've stated in interviews that they're tired of making South Park.

Look at the title and the episode in general. It's called "You're Getting Old", and it's about stuff being shitty.

Also look at Sharon and Randy's conversation near the end. View it as Randy as South Park as a show, and Sharon as the fan base.

The whole episode is basically Matt and Trey saying "We've grown apart." to the fans.

It's safe to say this is the last season.

After 7 hours of telling her how we're meant to be together forever, I would have no alternative but to shoot her in the face... killing her instantly. Then cover myself in lighter fluid before smoking one last cigarette... and burning the house to the ground. That's how much I fucking love Southpark.
